Prevention against cancer caused by human viruses that attack the DNA of your cells involves strategies against them. What are these cancer-causing viruses? They are Human Papilloma, also known as HPV and Epstein-Barr or EBV. They are implicated in 5 types of cancers. So, can you can beat them? Definitely! Prevention against Helicobacter Pylori, Human Herpes Virus 8 and Hepatitis B and C is also doable. How? Check out: How to Stop Cancer Causing RNA Viruses.
Here are 4 steps on how-to.
1. Abstinence
To abstain is to avoid ANY sexual activity. You can get the HP virus by being sexually active. HPV is proven to cause tumors to develop in your cervix. It is also being linked to tumor growth in your throat. That's why you should also avoid oral sex.
2. Monogamy
If you can't abstain, be monogamous. Have sex with only 1 partner as much as you can and make sure that your partner isn't infected with HPV. This can be difficult because most people are infected with HPV and just don't know it yet.
HPV is one of the viruses that is sexually transmitted.
3. Safe Sex Practice
If you can't abstain or you can't stay with just one partner, always practice safe sex. Use latex condoms which are recommended to lower sexually transmitted infections. But remember that the use of condoms doesn't really provide complete protection from HPV.
4. Vaccination
In 2006, a new vaccine came out to prevent human papillomavirus. If you are under 26 years old and a female, you are recommended to get vaccinated. The vaccine is your prevention against cancer causing viruses such as the HPV.
The HPV is one of the human viruses and it causes most cervical tumors.
You can't absolutely avoid viruses like the EBV. Think about this . . . You get it at childhood more often than not. By the time you become an adult you would have developed antibodies for EBV. That is, if you . . .
1. Have a healthy immune system.
According to Winkler G. Weinberg's book "No germs allowed!: how to avoid infectious diseases at home and on the road", "there is such a thing as infections of daily living".
Epstein-Barr virus or EBV is one of those.
The virus is passed through intimate contact like kissing because you shed the virus in your saliva. Pharyngitis is one disease caused by EBV but as long as your immune system is working perfectly, you will be fine.
A healthy immune system is your best prevention against viruses. Hence, it is important to build up your immune system to make sure it is strong enough against viruses and bacteria.
How to do that? Avoid sugary food and drinks and always include fruits and vegetables in your daily meals. Use extra virgin olive oil. Take immune system supplements such as Ganoderma Extract. Make sure you are protected from the sun's radiation.
2. Lessen your caffeine intake.
Caffeine can worsen an EBV flare-up. It may make you feel mentally and physically sluggish and very susceptible to flu and colds. So do avoid too much sodas, coffee, chocolates, tea and other food that contains high concentration of caffeine.
3. Avoid stress as much as possible.
Stress it is found to be an important factor that can be causing EBV flare-ups. That's why, you should learn how to avoid stress. And be aware that an EBV flare-up is just one of the many harmful effects of stress on your health. Stress is also seen as a major factor in different cancers.
What you have read are effective ways on prevention against cancer causing DNA viruses. Now, it's up to you to use them to your advantage.
